Baby Got Back
Here is what happens when you let your two year old go swimming without one of those handy, dandy swimmy diapers. We brought one along on our trip to the pond this weekend, but didn't feel like going through the effort of taking off her bathing suit and changing her diaper.
"How much water will the diaper collect, anyway?" We naively thought.
Apparently, these Luvs diapers can hold quite a bit. Her poor butt quadrupled in size as it soaked up half the pond that afternoon.
Kinda takes on new meaning to the phrase, "Does this bathing suit make my butt look big?"

LOL! Those are great shots! I would never have thought the diaper would swell *that* big. HEE!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or does your cute and adorable daughter look a tad bit like a Weeble Wobble in these photos?
ReplyDeletethat is stinkin' hilarious! i'll definitely be showing a few people this post. i'm still giggling!
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny! Baby got back!
ReplyDeleteAnd wrinkly, too! Big 'n' wrinkly! You know ...like your fingertips when you stay in the bathtub too long? :)
ReplyDeleteI've done that before! ONCE! How much did that weigh?
ReplyDeleteBwahahahhahahahahahahha!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that is so funny!!!! I love the title of the post, so appropriate. :)
You have the best blog! Oh, and that pic. Too cute! Reminds me of mine when they get done swimming. If they are out at the lake I don't worry about swim diapers. To me it doesn't even matter. How much worse could the lake get??
ReplyDeleteToo funny! She doesn't look like it is bothering her a bit!
ReplyDeleteJen
I like big diapers and I cannot lie.
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely hilarious! What a sweetie to not be pitching a fit :-)
Well now you know those diapers can hold alot! You might not have to change her for a week...
ReplyDeleteThose swim diapers leak, we were at the Y once and we were using a swim diaper and all of the sudden I noticed something brown running down my baby boys leg, not dirt ya'll it was soggy poo...
Oh my! We did that with my little boy, and his swim trunks were no match for the wet diaper. We picked him up out of the pool, and the clothes sunk to the bottom! Good thing he's only 2!
ReplyDeleteOh my, she has some jnk in her trunk. What a cutie! :)
ReplyDeleteMy Fro Post isThere is a snake on my foot!
Oh my GOSH! Looks like that diaper could have sucked the pond dry if she'd stayed in a little longer! I second the Weeble Wobble comment. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteha ha !!! Funny post!
ReplyDeleteGood commercial for Luv diapers! Give them a call & you might get rich! "Luv Diapers can hold a pond full" can be there new motto.
ReplyDeleteHysterical! I'm with Amy -- send those to Luvs! They just might "luv" it. So so funny, and so very cute!
ReplyDeleteOh, that is so funny! I love it. We tested the Sam's brand the other day in my Mom's pool. It didn't go well. There was quite the explosion/cleanup afterwards!
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of my last week's post! How cute!
ReplyDeleteI loved Luvs diapers.
Baby does indeed have back. And a lot of it. Hehe
ReplyDeletehahaha...I have done that many a time. Only time it's no good is if the diaper breaks. Then you have diaper gel everywhere!
ReplyDeleteLooks like she was having fun - - until she had to wobble around. I agree - another commercial on the way!!! LOL She is a cutie
ReplyDeleteBack before (in the OLDEN AGES) lil swimmers, the choice was see how much the diaper holds or swim naked! My kids did both! I remember many a 'big butt' baby! Your little girl is too cute!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine how heavy that was for her tiny little body!
ReplyDeleteScott looks like he's weight lifting!
